AI Processing
Based uses AI services to analyze meal photos and provide nutrition coaching. Your meal photos are sent to our secure servers for processing and are not stored after analysis is complete. Coach chat conversations are processed by AI to provide personalized advice based on your nutrient data.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Meal photos are processed securely and not shared with third parties. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, all associated data including meal logs, scores, and chat history will be permanently removed.
